    John's Rock 2013

Oscar and I made it in along with Snare late Saturday morning. We had a great time nd didn't even leave the grove. Heavy rainfall overnight, but it was after everyone was safe in their hammocks. Thanks, everybody!

It was a great time! I am working on a video trip report and will post it here soon. Thanks to HB and RF for putting this event on again! It was wonderful to see old friends and make new ones alike.

3 1/2 hrs. on the road and I am home again. I went up Thursday evening and enjoyed three nights there. Great to meet old friends and make new ones, had a great time, thanks everyone. Even the rain was friendly.

Back home. Hammock hung out to air out and dry, the sun is shinning, rain flys spread out on the lawn to dry, showered, drinking coffee and, you guessed it, RAIN... RUN OUT GRAB HAMMOCK GET SOAKED, again, but man was it all worth it. Thanks HB and RF for a great hang.

Came back home to experience the sauna that is Kingsport! It was so nice to be a little chilly even if it did rain. Thanks everyone for a great time. A special thanks to RF and HB for the invite!
