When the Kammock Roo first came to market, they did so with socially conscious approach as well as with a different kind of fabric to set themselves apart. For the average non HF consumer it probably was effective. Adding a little more to the product details would help I think.

Thanks for all the input and especially the blunt ones. I see a trend from most of the comments that we need to have a better product description. I will start working on it immediately. We also plan on adding a video the will show the different features by the end of the week.

Well, you have certainly come to the right place for help and input. You will find everyone on here more than willing to contribute our knowledge and experience. If you listen carefully and are humble, you will be able to benefit from us. Good luck.

Our HH's are also made in China. Same with the iPhone. I'd wager that quite a bit of the ripstop people are using also comes from there. So, whether the engineering and design is done in North America or sewing some hems and channels, does it really matter?

    I completely agree with you.

I actually know of another really big brand that uses the exact same manufacturer that I do. If you are clever enough you can figure it out.

It is really hard to get a hammock manufactured in the USA because all of those type of sewing jobs are overseas and also the fabric materials used are made elsewhere. Other hammocks might not have been "Made Elsewhere" but at least part of the material is made elsewhere.

The quality has nothing to do with where it is made. It all deals with overseeing the operation, quality control, and materials selected.
