Yes I'm interested, was planning on coming up this weekend anyway. Am interested in doing Temperance River to Oberg Mt or somewhere in there.
Haven't done this section yet, But I'm up for anything.

Taking the wife up for our first hang. We'll be doing the section from Silver bay to Hwy 1, might be interesting the pup is coming along too. Looks like the weather will be great for the weekend.

CryOTheWild wants to go to black river state forest as he has to work late on Friday and its close to his work.... Honestly I'd rather go to the SHT! I'm going to go and badger him to go north instead! I'm game for any sections! Will need to take a look at the guide book to put together a plan. I have tomorrow off, so ill post what happens here. How many of you are serious about wanting to get together for the weekend?

How many miles do you guys like to hike a day? I enjoy 12-15, but I can do more or less...let me know.

Also, I generally really like to leave my bike at the south end and then drive to the starting point to the north and hike south. That allows me to cover more actual trail and not back track. Anyone else game for this? I simply stash the bike in the woods..... although if we had a group, we could just leave one car at one of the ends.

okay so I just put this together... let me know what you guys think... hopefully you'll chime in by tomorrow late morning

I'm thinking I might head up tomorrow (thursday) now for an extra day and do Britton Peak to Onion River (about 5 miles) then on Friday I'll end up at East Lake Agnes (about 15 miles) then on Saturday ending up at Trout Creek (about 13 miles) and then on Sunday hiking back to cascade river state park (about 1.3 miles) where I'm hoping (will hopefully find out in the morning) my friend that lives in grand marais will shuttle me back to my car and I could then shuttle anyone/everyone back. Sounds like a fun trip... a little last minute, but that's generally how these things go for me

please let me know ASAP what your thoughts are.
