Thanks. I built my TDS because they had a no hammocks policy. Thanks.

That's great news on PWNF! They have a great primitive section which is what used to be the C loop of the camp ground. They have closed it off to car camping and you have to walk in. Lots of trees, amphitheater and pleanty of great hiking trails as well as some fishing spots. I havent camped there in a very long time because they didn't allow hammocks. Good to know they have changed their policy finally. Hey OldMart (aka pop), when you want to go hang at PW?

In a couple of weeks. Maybe we can get a pre fall trip going.

Dave, when you do, ask if a 1" tree strap wrapped twice around the tree will meet their 1.5" requirement.

I've been wanting to hang at PWFP for a long time, but they require 1.5" straps and my WBBB only has 1" :/

Could someone fill me in on what the 'PW' stands for? I've got the national forest part, but I'm clueless to the PW.

I'm glad there's a MAHHA, I feel like I'm too far in the middle between NE and SE to join their group hangs.
