What if I showed up late Saturday with my little chicks? They will have theater rehearsal Saturday and we can't miss.

I'd be able to bring my Hennessey Explorer Deluxe, HK2001 single layer custom, Warbonnet Blackbird and pair of Hennessey Scouts for the smaller ones of the group.

Tempted to make the drive out, even for the short overnight.

    questions

Wow, this sounds like fun. I am in seattle and am headed out to the 4th annual Idaho hang with Paul gibson and crew. However, this western wa trip might be good for the end of the month.

What are the grounds like there? will there be places to park? could i easily get a motorcycle on those grounds?

    thanks

The last Hang there we had 3 motorcycles. The ground up top is pretty solid and lots of wood buried that you can put your kickstand on if worried. You park up top with the cars and walk down the hill. short bit of gravel road but nothing to bad. If plans permit I will be riding out again.

Re: Western Washington Immersion Hang Sept. 27-29

I would love to go, just don't know if I can afford to take that many days off from work. I'll let you know in a couple days.

I might be running up there mid week to get a bit more done and see if I can get a truckload of gravel in.
Planning on changing the entry trail into stairs with a hand rail. Might do some other trail improvements if I feel up to it.

But won't be able to make it... OSU starts that Sunday, and I'll be enjoying the last of the Central Cascades with the family before the snow flys.

Gary, how about a rainy December hang on your property? Nothing like the coast to test out the rain-worthiness of a tarp really enjoyed my time up there, can't wait to get back.

See ya'll next time! Have fun... (Get the pizza)

So food.... What did we want to do?

I have been tempted to try the Ribs in a cooler trick..

    Dutch oven stuff is easy....

Could just make it a good old fashioned style BBQ with Corn, beans, meat and some
vegi stuff for non meat people.

Its weekend after next, nice to have an Idea.

Meat or Sea Food either one is good with me. Although last time I think we had a little to much on the stakes. Yea I know, "You can Never Have enough Steak!"

Gary any idea if anything is running now? I was thinking about bringing a pole.

    Some other ideas, besides the main course;

    Corn on the Cob
Salads, like Patio, Three Bean, stuff that is easy to server and eat.
Bake Patios, but I think last time these got way over cooked. Any one know a way to cook them on a grill? Maybe pre-cook them?
Some French bread or Garlic bread, those work on the grill OK.

All out of ideas right now.

Trout most likely, river was pretty low last time I was up there so that might be it this sec..
I know there are reports of Pinks and Chinook in the region getting into fresh water. But the
Moclips river is not one that gets reports since there isn't much public land on it. I am planning
most my good fishing over the winter. I will be up there for at least a night this week sometime
so I will hit the river a little and see how its looking. I would assume if we get some rain we get some fish.
