    Hey everyone viper here!
Alright guys I'm so confused so I have a million questins can answer them according to how I number them i guess.
1)what's the difference between taffeta and crushed taffeta?(strength feel weight)
2)does anyone uses crushed Polly taffeta for a hammock?(I ordered some and how I didn't make a mistake)
3)is it true that eno hammocks are crushed taffeta(nylon)
4)does crushed taffeta Polly feel about the same as crushed taffeta nylon?
5)what are a list of different materials for hammocks for camping/backpacking weigh?(I know ripstop nylon/Polly. Polly, nylon, taffeta fabrics)

Confused -_- thanks for the help guys.

    1) Fashion finish. Decorators care about that more than gear makers.
    2) It is a favorite of the tablecloth hammock set.
    3) I don't know.
    4) IMO polyester and nylon feel radically different. Polyester feels softer while nylon feels slick. I can wear polyester shirts but nylon shirts make my skin crawl. YMMV
    5) If you can join it in some manner you can make a hammock out of it. It make not be a nice one. But you can do it.
I may be slow... But I sure am gimpy.

Alrighty perfect! Thanks so much! I was wanting a softer feel to the hammock for when I'm just chilling in it with out the sleeping system in it.
    Thanks for all the help!

Duffy made our bedroom hammocks out of crushed taffeta tablecloths. If you look at the pics in my gallery, you can maybe get a better idea.

I like the feel much better than the hiking hammocks but it IS heavier.

    And very comfy.
