Great story SS, a few friends and I do that trip every year also. This year we where there the first weekend in August. All six of us stayed at campsite 10 and did day trips around the lake and up into Rock pond. Those beaver dams can be paddled over if you don't have a full load of gear. The largemouth bass are absolutely massive in Little Tupper now, unfortunately for my favorite fish the brook trout, but they certainly put a bend in the rod. Used my hammock setup for the first time on this years trip and had the best nights sleep in the woods I ever have.
