    How long a hike to the campsight and what kind of terrain ( as in up a mountain ?)
    Some of us are older then most of the trees in HNF .

    the hike in is around 2.5 miles i think and its fairly easy, there is a pretty good size hill that switchbacks all the way down going in, other than the going back out up the big hill is a little rough for me but im not in the best of shape so i just have to take my time and take a few breaks on the way up, or you can hike the rest of the loop on the way out , im not sure on the rest of the loop since ive never hiked the whole thing but would like too this time around. hope you can make it, let me know if i should add you to the list

    Oh I know how to hike alright just not in the greatest shape any more . I did about a thousand miles in the beautiful orient on foot with an 80 pound ruck back in 68 . ( that's Army BTW . 101st Airborne ,we were also manly I think LOL )
