OK boys and girls, its done!

Sesquicentennial State Park is where were moving to for this years event. Santee just could not get this straightened out but I hope in the years forward this will not be an issue.

ANYWAY!!! We still have a lake (but we cant swim in it) and bathrooms are moderately near by, and we *should* have the primitive areas to ourselves.

    http://southcarolinaparks.com/sesqui/introduction.aspx

We have site #3 & #4 (when you enter the primitive camping area from the "do not enter sign we are the first site you see and the one to the immediate right of that.

    Changes to the event

There are not many, and nothing that should cause an issue outside the shorter distance to the camp for our northern/western campers and further for the south/eastern campers.

1: Parking: we are allowed 2 vehicles per campsite, for a total of 4. We are however allowed to drive in to the primitive area, unload and then drive out. the park is secured at night via a gate and cars will need parking passes. Gate code will be posted in both threads for late comers.

2: We will still need tables (possibly more than at Santee) and pop up canopies.

thats about it, aside from when you come in you need to tell the gate/fee person that youre camping under the Palmetto State Hangers/David Kitts/Primitive Site #3&4

Friday night we will carpool and head to Little Pig BBQ (i will call them monday to warn them...) for an amazing dinner.

Aside from that, all will proceed as normal. Anyone that wants to bring pools or water toys (sprinklers...) PLEASE DO.

Last, we have the site from Thursday-Sunday, so anyone that wants to come out Thursday night come on!

Ok will be there around 11:30AM Saturday. I already ordered the desert and the order came in today. I think I need a bigger cooler.
    Straight out of Clayton.

Most physical hike: Grandfather Mountain, NC. Aug 13.

I don't need to make my pack lighter. I need to make my (_*_) lighter.

My wife said she plans to meet you when you get to the hang to do a quality control check of the desert.

Great, well tell her she is going to have a lot to sample, since I have some extra stuff for both of you.

I'm going to bring a pop up canopy, some extra chairs, a table or 2, and some firewood.
