Rainbow falls near Mammoth Lakes?
Last time I did the rainbow falls hike all the trees were dead from a recent fire. Haven't been back since to see how/if it recovered. Is there camping allowed there anyways?

Whiskytown, west of Redding, has several waterfalls in the area, or Lake Britton has a few that feed into it.
There's a large campsite right at Rainbow Falls, I hung there last month.
Lots of tent space, but only room for maybe 4 hammocks if memory serves.
Gorgeous views, terribly gusty wind since you're perched at the edge of a cliff.
