I've been reading about the turtledog stand and noticed that my kids old swing looked familiar…so I rushed out on the first sunny day and perfect fit.

Great repurposing. I had looked at my granddaughter's swing set but it was still in use. Then got my aunts lawn swing frame and am using it every night.
Most of us end up poorer here but richer for being here. Olddog, Fulltime hammocker, 365 nights a year.
Looks real good.

I would definitely paint it(maybe green or brown or both!). It looks better than most swing sets(when I said that to Olddog, I didn't mean that yours in particular looked bad). As far as mods... I'd think I might try rigging some shelves on the ends(for gear) with home made giant Grizz Beaks to cover them.
Shelves and a Bigger tarp would almost make it a vacation home. Works for me. No prob. On the comment. Life's good.
