You could also try something like this:

    No wound? No scar?
Yet, as the Master shall the servant be,
And piercèd are the feet that follow Me.
But thine are whole; can he have followed far
Who hast no wound or scar?

There are Crock Pots and there are Microwaves. The world does microwaves; God does crock pots.

It's the fingertips cut off of a pair of work gloves with 2 little strips of shock chord to hold it together.

    Weighs 8 grams.
I use a smart water bottle with a little upside down U cut at the top of the bottle. Pull the opening back, insert stake, even dirty, door closes back. No mess, no fuss, packs very well.

    Stake Protectors

I use a tyvek envelope from the post office. They are super light and super strong. Another nice thing is that they keep the dirt contained, no need to get the stakes all cleaned up.

I have an old bank bag, you know the kind with zippers they use for drops, most banks will give you 1 or 2 if you ask nicely, very thick, work great!

I just don't put my stakes in my pack, they go in the mesh pocket or side pockets.

That's what I do as well. I do clip them to a small biner so none of them end up missing.
