    Hanging in KY

Hows it going everybody, I'm new here but i plan on soon doing multiple day hikes and eventually a thru of the AT. This is my first run around with gear so I'm still trying and learning a lot of things so if you can ever give me a pointer or a review id appreciate it.
    Thanks,
    KSaggin.

Welcome from NJ! There's boat loads of stuff to read here. It's information overload! Have you joined Whiteblaze yet?

Welcome from Northern Kentucky. Perhaps I'll see you down the gorge some time.

Hello and welcome to the forums from Indiana! There's a long distance hiker section here also.
I got in a fight one time with a really big guy, and he said, "I'm going to mop the floor with your face." I said, "You'll be sorry." He said, "Oh, yeah? Why?" I said, "Well, you won't be able to get into the corners very well."
