    Missing loop on WhoopieSlings

Need some experienced feedback on this problem. I recently purchased an awesome, nearly new 3/4 20* down UQ & BIAS Weight Weenie Micro hammock. There were some nice extras thrown in, including a set of Whoopie Slings w/ Dutch Hooks in the adj. loops. BUT....the fixed loops aren't there!! Are there WS out there that don't have fixed loops? If so, how are they attached? On the ones I rec'd, it looks like they are buried in the line, because the line diameter is larger there. What to do? I really don't want to drop $30 or so for another set unless it's my only option. Is there a somewhat easy way to retrieve the loop? I did a search & found that it is a time consuming, royal PITA going the darning needle route. Has anyone discovered another way do get the loops out of a 'total bury'? I was hoping to try this method of suspension out with the new hammock & new Incubator 0* UQ this week, since our temps here are now touching the low 20's & teens. This noob is learning much here & having a grand time NOT sleeping in a t**t!

I don't have the capability to do that. In my minimalist downsizing over the past 4 yrs, I've dropped to a Tracfone without camera. Haven't owned a 'real' camera in over 10 yrs. But they look exactly like these....https://www.google.com/search?q=whoo...0%3B736without.....without the 'fixed loop' & a Dutch Hook where the stopper bead is shown. Where that loop should be, the line is a thicker diameter for the last 2 inches.

A fixed eye wouldn't have become pulled in. I'm guessing it is just back spliced to create a finished end and the previous owner tied them to the tree straps. If there is enough line to tie to tree straps, there should be enough line to cut off the back splices and splice fixed eyes with locked brummels.

    Yep...photos would help.

Edit...How long is the end without the eye from the adjustable bury to the start of the thick end?

This could be it....just a 'finished' end. Is there a preferred method for tying these to straps? I'm a proficient 'knot guy'....fmr. Boy Scout, fmr. Navy (air, not sea), ret. firefighter/medic, so I'm sure what I use fm my mental arsenal would do the trick. A 'standard method' from experienced hangers would be my 1st 'go to' knot, though. Gimme a knot & I'll tie it. Gimme a needle & I'm looking to stitch a wound!!

Knots are not the preferred method with amsteel. How long is the tail end?

That was my thought, but it has whoopie hooks in the adjustable part of the whoopie. Would still like to see pics

With the adj. loop closed tight to the Dutch Whoopie Hook, the overall length of the WS is 117". The 'tail' end of the adj. loop is 9" w/ a 'fixed' 2 1/2" loop at the end. No loop on the other end, where the other fixed loop would normally attach to the toggle. BTW, aluminum toggles were included with the set-up, so that's why I thought the loops were buried in the 1st place.
