Awesome time! Hiking in at 11PM Thursday in 7° was amazing...fresh trail of about 14" of untouched powder, I love it!
Stayed dry and avoided ALL the rain being mostly overnight (and sleeping in til about noon) haha. That sound of rain on the tarp can't be beat!
Packed up and headed out pretty early to get home...lots going on here and a busy week ahead.
Unfortunatley my Jeep stalled right as I was exiting the lot. Couldn't rev it over 2500rpm so that made for a slower trek back, a little over 5 hours. Plus it would stall if I slowed down below 10mph so I blew a few stop signs. Very tough restarting, lucky to be home! Going in for service tomorrow. Averaged about 14.3mph instead of the usual 19.5
FYI - I knew it was going to be damp so I took weights before and after:
20° HG Incubator +1oz
15° Marmot Pinnacle
Not even worth measuring but good peace of mind for the next damp trip with down!

Excellent weekend. A few trials and challenges but well worth it. Good people in attendance and the hobo stew couldn't be beat. Tho I may have to change my handle to 2 trip or something like that seeing as I like to hike so much. :-)
Any recorded it or will post pictures?
I believe River Joe will be posting a trip report at some point in the near future.

What a weekend . Great folks , beautiful country and the weather not nearly as bad as anticipated . Nice variety ... 7 degrees Thur night . Freezeing rain turning to rain on Saturday turning to snow to a low of about 24 to 20 or 30mph winds early Sun morn to sunshine and 33 or so . Definitely the hike kicked butt for some of us . Lots more hills then anticipated and snowshoes definitely add a degree of difficulty . Measured 2.25 miles on Lonetrackers GPS which was about 1.25 miles too long for a grumpy old man .
Thanks to Lonetracker and TZ Brown for your help up the hills and Josh for carrying part of my load .
I've got a lot of pics which I've got to down load to Photo bucket .
I have a few pics to post...will try and get an offical report up this evening
