What: 4th Annual Bussey Point Campout - Cowboy Days

Last year, we had a good group of HF members who attended this campout and it was so much fun getting hangers and geocachers together for a great time of food, fun and hanging.

Last year's trip report

The CSRA Geocachers invite you to come join them on Friday, November 29 and Saturday, November 30, 2013 for camping, cooking or just enjoying the day Saturday.

The camping will be at the Corps of Engineers Campground area on Friday the 29th and Saturday the 30th. We will be leaving around noon time on Sunday, December 1st.

A "Primitive or Fireside Cooking" Cookoff will be held on Saturday the 30th. There will be two categories as was last year. The "Main Dish" and the "Dessert" challenges.

To qualify for the cookoff all participants must do two things to enter.

1. In your post, state that you are entering the cook off.

2. Cook your entry dish on site.

Store bought food heated by the fireside WILL NOT be accepted as an entry. However, a huge thank you to those who brought some great food last year but didn't attend the cook off challenge.

The Cook - Off entries will be judged around 1:00 PM Saturday. So all dishes must be ready by 1:00 PM. Each participant must provide their own means of cooking, such as building your own fire, setting up your own grill, outdoor stove, etc.



After the cook off there will be a picnic (sampling of all the great dishes cooked) followed by a short meeting.
