Not working for me either. Typing in the code works, but clicking on the smilies buttons does nothing. I'm using google chrome.

For what it's worth, I tried on my friends macbook last night, and still everything was locked out.

I tried Dolphin and Opera browsers on the tablet last night, and still nada.

    Edit:

Well.. out of curiosity, I'm trying this with the content editor in The Adobe CS suite. and when I set it into debugging mode, with "allow insecure content" guess what?

    Temporary fix for chrome users!

    Use at your own discretion
Ok, for users of Chrome (and there are similar fixes for other browsers)
Up in the right side of the address bar, there's a little shield. Click it, and select
"load unsafe script" This will allow access to the navigation bar, gallery, formatting buttons, and smilies on a PER SESSION basis. Meaning, it's not going to open you up to bad script elsewhere, it'll allow you to use all the broken stuff, then once you close out that window or tab, you have to grant it access again.

I'm not sure why this is happening, but I tend to think it's a back end problem, And if you're able to use these controls without using a workaround, then I hope your malware and antivirus software is up to date, because you're allowing bad, or insecure content to load from any site.

I was wondering what was going wrong and why I could post a reply in another thread. Unsecure content...hmmm...
Well unsecure hammocks might be a problem. I'll get right on making sure mine is secure.

The issue is these two lines:

    [22:12:03.803] GET http://yui.yahooapis.com/2.9.0/build...event.js?v=387 [HTTP/1.1 200 OK 1034ms]
    [22:12:03.805] GET http://yui.yahooapis.com/2.9.0/build...n-min.js?v=387 [HTTP/1.1 200 OK 1035ms]

These two scripts are being accessed via HTTP rather than HTTPS as the rest of hammockforums.net is loaded. It's part of the Yahoo Connection Manager. The vBulletin editor uses these javascript libraries to provide the extended editor functions.

One possible fix is to host these JS libraries locally on the HF servers. Another possible solution is to load the JS libraries from Yahoo's servers over HTTPS instead of HTTP.
