Integral UQ double layer hammock

I want to build an integral double layer hammock and I am sure somebody has already built one like this.

Top = 1.5oz
Bottom = M50

Bottom with side to side radius cut baffle tubes with no insulation maybe 6" wide x ? deep.

Want to use 5MM silk covered Climashield bats that I can slide into the tubes for under insulation. Will probably have one set of 1.8oz primaloft for summer and one set or 5XP for winter.

Double layer will allow pads etc for winter.

How wide should I make the tubes ?
How deep should I make the tubes ??
Thinking the fillers should be 1" wider so they fit tight.
Should the ends close with velcro ?
