Full-timers, what do YOU sleep in?

I literally just joined the forums and am learning a lot.

We are using Brazilian Hammocks and have enjoyed them for the 6 months we have been hanging.

I did the little girls' room in a beach ball theme. They have single hammocks like this:

    http://www.hammocks.com/hammocks/han...redhammock.cfm

Theirs are striped, but it's that hammock. Well...the 7 yo's BROKE. I'm going to try to fix it, but am looking for a back-up plan. She really needs a double because she is always begging me to lay down with her and I think that having two of us in a single put too much stress on the strings. I don't know if I should stick with Brazilian or look at other options or maybe a better brand of Brazilian. I definitely don't want to buy new hammocks every six months if I can help it.

I know the basic differences between Mayan, Brazilian and Nicaraguan. This morning she was looking at ENOs as a possibility. I do wonder if some of the stringed hammocks will leave us with waffle butt

Thoughts? What do you sleep in every night? Recommendations?

I recently decided to go more full time, well 90% actually. I got a BIAS Weight Weenie Micro to put up indoors & fell in love all over again.....with hammocks, that is! It's heavenly lightness is great for my outdoor excursions (i.e. in the backpack), too.

A DIY gathered end, 11' x 54", made of a sport nylon found on sale at Hancock's. Super soft and comfortable. Over 2+ years now.

Tablecloth factory hammock. single inside, double in the outside when it's cold. WBBB when it's buggy. Might build me a bug net and swap to full time tablecloth. The WBBB is a good hammock but the 90 inch wide TBCloth gives this big boy just a little more room. But as is, it's my goto bug season hammok.

That is fabulous! I don't sew much, but my 17yo does....might be worth $12.99 to give this a shot.

    A couple of questions.

You made two--one to go inside the other? Like a single hammock inside of a double one for insulation? If that is what you mean, do you suspend both from the same hardware?

I'm just using eye hooks into the studs, some rope and caribiners.

    Umm, whats WBBB?

I've actually got 4 of them, cheap enough so why not switch colors every once in a while. Most of the time I'm in a single layer. I made the double layer to put a pad in between and it work great that way. I don't know if skeeters will make it through a single layer but they won't make it through the double. There is also less sag on a double layer so you lay really flat, but on my inside hammock I have a pillow and a blanket under my knees, a small pillow under my head and another pillow to hold onto. I am a creature of comfort at home. When the temps drop off I take the blanket out from under my knees and put it on. Now I'm toasty and comfy and dread having to get up.

I've been in my DIY Tablecloth since July and have been loving it. I didn't do any sewing on mine, just whipped the ends and then spliced up whoopies and a ridgeline. I eventually plan on moving to a Brazillian when I get some extra money laying around. Until then, I'm enjoying every second I can in my DIY!

At home I use an ENO Double Nest. Out camping/backpacking it's a WB Traveler.
