    Pocket insulation for the nx250

I was playing around to day with the nx250
And trying different things for insulation
In the 6 pockets under the hammock
I found that the 2.5 gal glad bags fit perfect
I can get 2 in each pocket. It adds about 6" of
Dead air space. Has Anyone else tried
This will it work? The next cold night we get I am going to see
How it works. Is their anything else you guys and gals
Have tried for insulation under the Clark ?

On my NX250 4 of the pockets are one size, the other 2 are smaller.

You don't want to just maximize free air space.. Convection currents overcome the viscosity of the air. For double glazed windows, for example, 1/2" spacing outperformers 1".

You can find the ziploc bag suggestion in archives here. Dunno that they will all remain sealed overnite. For cheap, I've played with inexpensive Walmart-sourced polyester fill pillows, cut in half and sewn back up.

I had to put the bags in at different levels of air
But they filled out the pockets well. It will be interesting to
See if it helps at all.
