Winter pix with my new 0* Zeppelin

Just got it in the mail today! The area is a hundred yards behind my house, there use to be a saw mill here. We are having a heat wave right now, tonight is only getting down to 28*, but Sunday night will drop back down to -8*, so I will experiment with top insulation (sleeping bag, woobie). I can definitely feel the warmth under me though! Nice work Paul and Missy, thanks! ( I'll be getting a top quilt too )

Great looking pup! The UQ is pretty nice too, should keep you warm and comfy on those cold Winter nights.
Everyone ought to believe in something....I believe I'll go set up the hammock!

I'm sure you'll be snug even down in that cold cellar. Is that Mocha outer shell? What color is the inner shell?

That is one sweet hanging spot you've got there. Great looking underquilt too.

One thing though, I would consider a tarp with more coverage for winter hanging (Full hex tarp with grizzbeak doors on either end, or something like a Superfly). Blocking out as much wind as possible is a contributing factor to keeping warm in cold weather.

    Cheers

I'm trying to decide which full coverage tarp I'm going with, one thing at a time.

Wow - nice place. I'm envious.
