I'm trying my best to give a hard time to all you guys that had such good adventures this weekend while I stayed home to honor a commitment to be a speaker at a garden show. It is raw jealously, pure and simple. But, on the other hand, maybe talking about "lawns" to about 40 mostly retired people, two of whom kept dozing off (it was a thrilling delivery), really is more exciting than floating quietly down a river, or watching a slow-burning fire (even if it is DuraFlames) under a full moon. But...maybe NOT!!!!!!!

I wish you could have made it Doug and brought your famous jerky! Plus you could have gave us words of wisdom (Elder) and no one would have been dosing off! skippy almost made the trip but hurt his back. I hope your feeling better skippy! I will plan another trip soon. I got to go check out Brushy Creek camp ground and see how many trees and camping sites its got. I will get it posted soon!

Thomas, I will be in Bankhead this weekend. I will check out the tree situation at Brushy Creek Campground and report back.
