New guy here. I have an idea in my head that seems like it would work. But I don;t have enough experience to poke holes in my hypothesis. So i figure you guys can do that for me.
I'm too new to shell out the $$ for a real underquilt. I have lots of camping gear. like army bags and pads etc.
I understand loft is the bottom insulation problem.
I also have a pickup truck bungee cargo net.
Could i just hang the cargo net strategically under my hammock and put insulation in that. I am aware that it will take adjustment to get it to lay against the hammock but not to compress my insulation. But i think i could pull that off.
Another idea is to buy the $20 hammock from Walmart and hang that under my ENO double nest for the same thing. essentially to create a double layer that i can stuff insulation into.
