    Greetings From Twig Minnesota!

    Hello Everyone!

I’ve been perusing the forums off and on for a while now, ever since coming across some of Shug’s Superior Hiking Trail videos.

My son (little Saul) and I are avid campers. He’s been hanging for 14 straight weekends (less one -30 night in which I made him defer to a quinzee.)

I’ve been camping alongside him in a tent, but last week I picked up a hammock of my own and finally see what the fuss is all about…it was by far my most comfortable night I’ve spent outdoors!

As new member to the forum, I just wanted to thank everyone here for all the resources my son and I have been able to glean for safe and comfortable camping. I especially like the family friendly notice on the home page. Little Saul is 12 and it’s great to share some quality time together looking up info on this forum.

As a Northern Minnesota resident myself, I wish those attending the group hang in Finland a safe and enjoyable weekend…maybe we’ll be able to join you next year!

Welcome to the forum, from Michigan!
I've gone to find myself. If I get back before I return, make sure I stay here.

When I see lovers' names carved into a tree, I don't think it's cute. I think it's strange how so many people take knives on a date.
