    youtube BB, OES, Te-Wa video

Anyone know who Pearana is on youtube? Is he on this forum ?

He has a video , actually two videos, up on youtube about the the BB, w/ OES tarp and tw-wa UQ - posted in April '09 - his voice sounds remarkably like Shug's voice , at least to my ear. And he's in Az and not out in the snow.

Anyway , it's just a new video which I had not seen before this evening.

Mike, maybe you can go camping with him sometime. Bet you have a lot in common too!

    Nice video! Keep 'em coming!
Nice pitch on that tarp in that wind! I like the tensioners.

Enjoyed that! I've never been in that part of AZ, except maybe just driving by. How are those pines holding up to pine beetle damage that is so prevalent thru the west?
For I consider that the sufferings of this present time are not worthy to be compared with the glory that is to be revealed to us....that the creation itself also will be set free from its slavery to corruption into the freedom of the glory of the children of God. For we know that the whole creation groans and suffers the pains of childbirth together until now.

thanks guys, i may be trying to sound like Shug.. there is no way i could ever match his talent but imitation is my form of flattery methinks..
the bb is a 1.1 lefty.
the quilts are the little 'te-wa's treehouse' that ive been making
the spinn tarp was a shoddy pitch, but sans rain i did not worry too much about it. the soil there was basically a few inches of pine duff and under that a combo of Mica, basalt and kryptonite (apparently to me) so getting stakes where i wanted them was a chore..
my purpose for making these videos was to show any curious non-hangers that a hammock kit can be light, affordable, and FUN!
so far the vids combined have almost 500 hits, so somebody is watchin'!!
thanks for the nice comments, folks.
(pines are doing well. not much damage in s. az ranges)

Hey Mike, you should really find some better people to hang with.

Edit: Oops, I thought at first that was the Parsons Spring video. Those folks look to be a definite upgrade.

that was Rincon mtns. Mannin Camp near the highest peak, Mica mtn and the campsite was @ 8000'. it is very well equipped and quite nice considering the trail is 10 miles long w/ 4200' elevation gain. gotta love the diversity of AZ~! (how could i live anywhere else? dunno - i tried 2x but came back )
