    Anclote Key, Florida 1-31-2014

I've been to this Island a few times, everytime we run into something else.
This time it was fog. Fog worse then any other fog I've ever seen in my life. The air was so thick with moisture that you couldn't hardly breath. At times when you could see 20 feet in front of you, it was a blessing because before that it was usually only about 10 feet.
Still had a great time though. Any time you're on an island is a great time IMO.

I recommend this trip to anyone who is able to take it. Be careful however, of the 4 times I've been to this island, we have sunk the boat 2 times. The waves can be BRUTAL out here!

EDIT: Tried to add pictures, but got this message. "Your submission could not be processed because a security token was missing."

Looks like a fine time in the islands, looking to spend some time down there now that my son lives in Florida

Fog is cool looking but it's hard to keep everything dry in a fog. Thanks for sharing!

Thanks for the report and the pictures! Been wanting to check it out! Was wondering if there were trees to hang from. How much water do you have to cross to get to island?

Its about 3 miles of water to get there. There's more sandspurs there than raccoons, and thats ALOT.

Great looking camp site with those hammies. I hope you can finally make one of our group hangs.
Enjoy and have fun with your family, before they have fun without you
