    Mountain Hardwear Phantom 15

    What do you guys think about using a Phantom 15 as a top quilt? In CO in early Sept. Appox. elevation 9000ft.

    I have never owned Mountain Hardwear but I think for less money you can get a REALLY nice custom TQ that is 10 - 0 degrees. Without a hood on the TQ it should be lighter too.

    Should be fine, though its not quite like a bag you can completely unzip, and its tailored for laying on your back zipped up in it. Still, its sufficient down insulation. Just could be a little awkward.
