    Gday from Cambodia

I recently bought a WBBB XLC and happy with it after the first use.

I'm in the process of putting together a compact lightweight camping setup for offroad trips on my plated dirtbike.

UQ/TQ suitable for warm climates is the next step.....

    Great forum.
Have been lurking for a while and now ready to ask some questions.

    Welcome to the forum bill1960.

Would love to see Cambodia through the lens of your camera,
once you get set up. That dirt bike will come in real handy once the
the main road peters out & all you're left with is the local villagers
    narrow winding track.

I used to hire one in Thailand, and it's a great way to get around.
Millions of scooter riding locals can't be wrong.
    Good luck.
Mountain views are good for the soul....& getting to them is good for my waistline.

Hi Ofuros, thanks for the welcome. Yeah, the climate over here is great for getting around on a motorbike.

Here's an example of some of the terrain we ride, this pic from a trip to the Cardamon Mountains last week

Obviously I want to keep stuff that I carry (camping gear etc) to a minimum in weight and volume.

Sawadee from someone who lived in northern Thailand for a while. While I was there I always wanted to check out Angkor Wat, but never made the trip.

I visited most of the main temples (except for Angkor Wat) in the early 2000's.
The roads were still in bad shape then so there were few, if any, other tourists at the sites.
Finally went to Angkor Wat in Sept 2006, quite a lot busier, but well worth a look.
