    Entry level economy tarp

Need an entry level economy tarp to cover a gathered end 10' hammock. Fine without lines , I have those covered. Please let me know what you have that might fit my budget. I donated a tarp to someone who needed it more than I. I will need a suitable replacement sooner or later.

    Thanks.

Have you checked out campmor mumbles? They have some good deals for pu tarps if your interested. Hennessey is also having a sale on certain stuff if I remember right. Just an idea if you haven't thought of that yet.

OTOH I have a pretty small tarp that I could possibly part with but it would definitely need seam sealer. Pm me if you want details...its a diy.

I think an 11' DIY hex tarp with some of Dutch's new Argon silnylon would be hard to beat. Material cost is about $50 and then a couple hours to sew it up.

I've got a HH Hex tarp (not sil) hiding in the gear closet somewhere, I think.

All good options so far here and in the mailbox. If you don't mind sending me prices I will see what I can shake out of the budget. I'm not configured for the DIY at this time though, maybe eventually. Many thanks.

Have you considered just using an 8x10 blue poly tarp? Or the harbor freight 8x8 poly camo pitched in a diamond.

IMO its better to go super cheap if your on a budget, and save for what you really want, than to try and meet half way.
