Colorado should be good for that! (T-minus 6 months)
Talk about taking one for the team - I hope she returns the favor! That's awesome, Jeff. Any way to get a buy-in, right?

What's this about Colorado? Have you been reassigned? Lucky dog, it's a beautiful place. But every place has its attractions. And you'll be near Cannibal and Warbonnetguy, which I'm not sure if that is good or bad.

Back to side sleeping. I slept in my Clark NA again last night, and again I ended up on my side. So I would have to say the Clark is a great side sleeping hammock, because I never start that way, but always end up on my side, every time. Every other hammock I sleep on my back, or partially on my side. But I wake up in the fetal position or a variation thereof in the Clark every time I sleep in it.

Don't have orders yet so I could always end up in Antarctica or somewhere, but I'm supposed to be moving to Colorado Springs in January. Already have two campouts planned for when I get there (no dates yet)...yeah, not sure if that's a good thing or not...

another vote here for the Clark and side sleeping. I too am one of those that moves around quite a bit before falling fast asleep. And I tend to fall asleep really REALLY fast in a hammock. I'm usually sort of flat but come morning, I'm on my side. The sort of flat is not really flat but kind of with one shoulder higher than the other. The clark is a tighter "fitting" hammock and I'm able to do this position with ease and it's very comfortable.

I am either a back/partial side sleeper, or more commonly mostly on back with one knee raised up. Think "Captain Morgan"

I sleep in the position the hammock tells me to. Bed? Always on my side. But I can't describe my angle in a hammock as it changes often.

It's all good! I mean really, why would anyone be concerned about hiking/camping with guys named Cannibal and Warbonnetguy?

It depends on the hammock, my mood, and the temps if I side-sleep or not. Clarks almost force me onto my side; no idea why. Some hammocks allow me to go fetal easier than others, but I almost always fall asleep on my back. Usually, in the figure 4 position with my left knee bent and my left foot under my right knee.
    Trust nobody!
