Perkolady are these the same biners you use

    http://www.rei.com/product/782706

seems like a great deal on a package of six might just have to order a package...Ive never heard of this brand before but they seem more then sufficient to hang from....any one use these or are these not considered rated for climbing
Sometimes I like to hike and think, And sometimes I just like to hike.

Hiking is'ent about waiting for the storm to pass its about learning to hike in the rain.

The Camp biners are rated for climbing, but at the absolute minimum accepted. They just barely make it, But they do make it. Looks like REI is having quite the sale on them. I like the metolius biners that we have at AHE better than the CAMP's,I believe they are better built. They are stronger, just as light and a fuzz smaller, and they come in cool camo looking colors. CAMP is sort of the generic of the climbing companies, but they were the first company to get their carabiners down to so low of a weight, the main stream companies did not want to sacrifice the "normal" strength rating to do it but camps were lighter than the other brands first.

Even it the Camp Nano just barely makes the climbing standard, they are more than strong enough for hammock purposes. Won't lose any sleep at night hanging from them.
