Very nice work. What dimensions did you use for the quilt? I did a down quilt for my first project as well and it worked out very nicely and it's seen a lot of use. With patience and a little planning I think it's a totally feasible first project if you are willing to invest the hours required, and I think there's something to be said for jumping in the deep end .
Finished it is 74" long and 46" wide at head end and 36" wide at foot end.
I used one the directions from the DIY top quilt sticky here: https://www.hammockforums.net/forum/...ead.php?t=4362
Wow, nice work! How long did it take you, start to finish?
That's one nice looking quilt. Well done!
see you on the trail,
Mike

Whoa that is ridiculously nice looking!! How soft is the Argon? I have wanted to do a new DIY project with the Argon from Dutch!!
It took me about 2 weeks of evenings, so maybe 15 hours. But a lot of that was planning and figuring the best way to do things since I didn't know what to do.
The Argon is incredibly soft!! Tough to work with and I'm not sure it's as "down proof" as other down proof fabrics. Waking up on my first trip out I could see quite a bit of light "fuzz" in the sun light.
That is beautiful! Seems like you took to the task like duck to water.
I appreciate all the encouragement!
