    Bears love hammocks

It might have been posted before.. (I searched.. I really did!)

But the safest place for food.. is not in your hammock!

I have seen that one. Not sure if I found the link here. Hilarious though. And proof that bears are smart... You didn't see him crawling into a tent did you.

They must get some sort of "hammock effect" as they do that.. Must be comforting.

My brother refers to hammocks as "Bear Twinkies".

Nice to see them using it the correct way.

I have a friend who refers to my hammock as a bear punching bag...
One day I'll come up with a clever sig.

haha! that was so cute. I loved the youtube clip. Thanks for posting it.

I saw my first bear (out in the wild) a couple of weekends ago when I did a section in the Great Smoky Mountains National Park. A mama and two cubs. So cute, but it scared the @#$% out of me for a second. I was walking around a bend in the trail and right there, in the middle of the trail, not even 25 feet away. There they were. The mama bear held her ground and I got to see the two cubs scramble up a tree. She eventually hiked up the mountain a bit and the cubs bounded after her. Probably one of my best memories on the trail thus far.
