I'm New Here Too!
I've almost got 50 posts, but I didn't properly introduce myself.
I'm Phil from NW Wisconsin. New to the forums and new to hammocks. As my profile says, I'm looking for a WBBB. As of today the mailman is bringing me a WBBB 1.9/1.1 camo jobber. I am still searching for a superfly and a yeti, but soon, very soon.
I wanted to get into hammocking and hiking to try and get in a little better shape. I did a little of the NCT this summer and next summer plan to do more, along with the SHT in Minnesota. I guess after watching what seems like thousands of hours of youtube vids from shug, fronkey, pizza, and others, just to name a few, I now have the bug.
Thanks to all who run this site and thanks to all the members for keeping me entertained with trip reports and hammock talk!

Missed this post during my time away hiking on the NET last week. Welcome...from 1 NOOB to another!
Humankind has not woven the web of life. We are but one thread within it. Whatever we do to the web, we do to ourselves. All things are bound together. All things connect.
yup, it's a bug alright.
The people here are amazingly awesome.
Get in on the Secret Santa thing if you like.
I tell you, SOOOOO many of us wait with baited breath , as well as in preparation for it.
In some mysterious way woods have never
seemed to me to be static things.
In physical terms, I move through them;
yet in metaphysical ones,
they seem to move through me. -
