Putting a ridgeline on a Tom Claytor Hammock
I have been looking at various tom claytor hammocks such as the mosquito and jungle hammock. It has all of the features like bugnet and double layer, except for a ridgeline. I have also been reading about the options of a ridgeline. Since the bug net on these hammocks juts out, how could I rig a ridgeline?
in it for the naps

This will, I think, require a small hole in the netting on each end to pass the rl through. Not a big deal, but I'm not sure there's enough benefit to be had to justify the mod.
Hammocks, including Claytors, work just fine w/o a rl.
It has always been my private conviction that any man who pits his intelligence against a fish and loses has it coming.
But, lots of folks love structural RLs on all hammocks.
For I consider that the sufferings of this present time are not worthy to be compared with the glory that is to be revealed to us....that the creation itself also will be set free from its slavery to corruption into the freedom of the glory of the children of God. For we know that the whole creation groans and suffers the pains of childbirth together until now.
