No zipper attached bugnet hammock...current state of evolution/experience?
When I first saw it, I was really excited by this design, since sewing in the zipper is a huge mental and physical barrier for an attached bugnet design.
I thought it was going to be one of the best design innovations around...then it seemed to fizzle...
Any updates...feedback from folks still using/making these?
I'm thinking about making up an UL 1.1 oz single layer with this design. As an addition, I was intending to create some kind of closable slits (one on each side) to allow for easy adjustment of an UQ w/o the need to pull the bungee down. I figure the slits would be maybe around 10 inches each, and closable with zipper, velcro or elastic/bungee and be positioned at the junction of netting/hammock.
