 06-14-2011, 21:36 #1 Bradley Senior Member     Join Date: Jun 2010 Location: West Kootenay, BC Hammock: NX-150 TX-150 Tarp: Vertex-Camo Insulation: Z-Liner & DIY Pads Suspension: Clark Posts: 1,691 Math help for a DIY project I need to figure out a length of a cylinder I know the volume (800ci) and the radius, (1.5") I need to know the height/length If: V=3.14 x r2 x h 800ci = 3.14 x 2.25 x h 800 = 7.065 x h or 800/7.065 = h h = 113.23" ? ? ? Checks out to me. if you use PI to a few more digits you get h=113.17" But maybe Pi = 3.14 in Canada....
