Its true, instead of "So new I don't even have a hammock yet" this thread could have been "Sew, here's my new DIY Hammock" It's really only 4 French hems and two seams. That's just sewing in long, semi straight lines.

Welcome to the community! I would start out cheap, I mean hey maybe you wont like hammocks but I doubt it,lol. I think you can pick up... I forget the naem.. yikes! for $12.00 on amazon. I'm sure someone can fill us both in on the name.
