Ok folks, your friendly neighborhood Spamburglar is still in TX playing home health nurse but I think it's time to throw out a feeler for the annual BSF trip. In the past we have done this a week or two before thanksgiving, but this year I want to get everyone's opinion on what dates would be beat for all interested in coming. These trips are always a good time with good people all of which I proud to call my friends. As time progresses I will be mapping out a couple of route options and will post as much information as I can accumulate on each so everyone can have a deciding voice in that as well. I hope that everyone on here has had a great summer and gotten some good quality hammock time, and if you haven't, then get out there! Summer ain't over yet! Looking forward to this trip and seeing old friends and maybe making new ones. Its like a family reunion. Everybody stay safe and hang happy!

You have to be in TN or KY to hike the BSF. Think you will ever get out of TX?

Her pick line is scheduled to come out on the 18th, so I should be headed back after that. It's taken longer than we expected, but I feel better knowing she is getting proper care. After all, who better to run a vancomycin infusion than a truck driver?

You know you and Hamhocker are always welcome additions to any hike. I haven't seen you since Hot Springs and I can't remember when I last saw Hamhocker.

I would be interested in possibly posting it as a "Nashville Backpacker" hike, if that would be all right with you. Would probably get 3 or 4 folks to come out. Depending on dates, me included.

It has probably been 2 yrs since she has gotten out except for Neo's hangs.

We are taking a vacation in Oct to go to the Fall Hang and Chili Festival in Mich. That will be Oct 9th to Oct 17th. She has to have wrist surgery after we get back then hopefully she can go part time. Got to use up all that time yanno. In Nov we only have Nov 22 weekend planned. We are going to see the Vols play Missouri.

I know she wants to get out and we will try to make it when you have it.

Are you thinking the TN or KY side? Not that it makes a huge diff...But, I'd be coming down from north of Cincinnati.
