    Greylock 4 on a Clark NX250

I have an NX250 and working on winterizing. Anyone out there tried out a Greylock on a Clark before? Concerned on the fit with the bottom pockets and how well it will insulate. I know most who have used Jacks fell in love, plus they are on sale as well. Any input would be appreciated. Thanks.

I have a Greylock 4 and it wraps up high on the sides for max coverage. It is really nice and warm.
Not sure about the pockets as I am not a Clark owner.
Could you leave the pockets empty and just have all that nice down right up against you.
    Carry forth.

Thanks. Plan was to try with the pockets empty first. How cold have you hung with your Greylock? And do you use anything for insulation on the foot end?

Had it to 5º and was all good and warm. Ate well before sleep. Wore a down hood and beanie. I always have a thermarest sit-pad in the footbox of my TQ when using a partial length UQ.

    Talking

Ordered my Greylock 4 yesterday. All were very helpful over at Jacks on pointing out the positive and negative, left with feeling I made the right choice. Will probably be calling in with questions on rigging on to hammock but confident from feedback I have heard they will talk me through it. Now the fun part, waiting like a kid on Christmas Eve!

I got to test my new Greylock 4 the past two weekends on my DIY gathered hammock and was totally impressed with it.

You will really like yours I expect.

Did you have any problems with air gaps? Also how cold were the temps?

It's still only fall here so the temps only got down to mid 20s at night. I am a cold sleeper but was toasty warm, it felt like an electric blanket under my back. No airgaps at all, it snugged up well and ran really high on the sides too. Setup was a breeze - I hooked it onto each end of the hammock and then tightened the cords a bit.

Working on a trip report since I learned a lot of lessons on this trip.
I am looking forward to much colder temps to really test it out.

    Cheers

Got my Greylock at my door on Friday, quality of it blows me away! Been sitting in my closet due to no time to hang it on my Clark. Hope to do so tomorrow to check fit. Will give it a first shakedown cruise this weekend with my daughter and Hoot at the Hoosier Halloween Hang. Should be a good place to see a variety of quilts; There's going to be around 35 to 40 hanging and lows will be around freezing. Expecting to report back with positive results!
