The Perfect Trees @1.4 Woodland camo sale

    Hello all,

I have a limited quantity of 60" wide, @1.4 woodland camo up for sale. This is what I know about the fabric. It has a very light PU (polyurethane) coating on one side. Light enough that it somehow retains its breathability, similar to the other calendered/dwr colors I use. I plan to make a few quilts out of it to see how it performs. My guess is that it will do well, especially shedding light moisture.

Anyway, for now I have 100 yards that I am offering for $3.50/yard until supplies last. I am trying to get more but I have been told there is not much left. If there are any questions feel free to post them here or PM me.

    Thanks everyone!

Woodland Camo 1.4 lightly coated ripstop

    Noob Question...
Would this 1.4 Camo fabric be good for a tarp? It is lightly coated, but breathable... Has any body tried it for a tarp yet.

Thinking about making myself a MacCat clone, in camo...

DWR will not cut it for a tarp. You want true waterproof fabric such as sil or heavy PU coated.

I dont think I would try it with this fabric 1022. Some tests have shown it to hold some water but this fabic has a VERY thin PU coat on it that makes it somewhat water resistant but still breathable.

Yep I got lots of it for sale still. I bought a bunch up when it was available because it seems to be so hard to find a breathable camo pattern that is light enough for quilts. Also, the price is $3.00/yard now...

I really dont know. I have not made one yet. I plan to but I have to finish up a few quilts first.

I think it would not be too bad. I can send you a 12" square sample if you like. If you are looking to make a good camo hammock you might check out some of the woodland camo that Scott over at Backwoodsdaydreamer has. It is just a little to breathable for use as a quilt (IMO) but I bet it would make a decent hammock. I believe a few members have done so already.
