I like all of the pics. Wish I could join in, would like a flag to hang from my tarp suspension, but with a nearly 14' tarp, I usually don't have any room left tween the tarp & the trees.
I'll have to get me one & work out an alternate way to display.

I have had my flag for a while and have been flying it on one end of the suspension for my hammock and another flag on the other end for an adventure rider forum I go to.

Honestly I had so many people ask about them last year that I just started telling them to visit the forum for info. At one rally last summer I bet we had literally 100-150 people come around and quiz us about the hammocks.

Here's mine, sorry that it's laying on the table but the field shots are at a distance.

Like the rest of my rig it's a DIY. Heat transfer printer paper for the moon. Fusible webbing for the black appliques. And lucky to have a cousin-in-law with a computerized embroidery machine for the lettering.

Okay, now I'd like to ask where you (I) can get the HF logo with the blue moon that I could do the same thing with.

    Pretty please!?

I definitely want to show my HF pride!

Tygr, they are all seperate pieces. The blue moon image came off the computer, just searched full moon images. Resized and printed out on heat transfer paper which was then ironed on to the flag. The HF logo was hand drawn to make a pattern, the howling dog was found on the computer and also drawn for a pattern. Two sided fusible webbing was ironed on to the back of black fabric and the logo and dog cut out of the black fabric. The logo and dog was then ironed on to the flag. The lettering was done on the embroidery machine but could possibly be done with the computer and the heat transfer paper or iron on lettering. Finished off with bias tape. Hope this helps, thanks for your interest. By the way this flag is 2 sided with the layers fused togeather before trimming.

Thank you Dragon360. I had checked on ordering a flag but figured that it couldn't be too hard. Wasn't that hard but did have to learn the heat transfer paper and the fusible webbing. Used a full pack of paper to get 2 moons that were satisfactory. Would have possibly been cheaper to order but then it wouldn't have been mine.

Thanks olddog. I thought that the Hammock Forums had an official logo using the blue moon that one might use. I know there's a sticker available for purchase that uses it.

I guess that I will go ahead and create my own to show my HF pride.
