    Trees Trees trees!

There are a lot of trees in this park. Sounds like you have two sites for base camp and a trail head for parking for national forest camping as well. Be prepared for some rain on Saturday and wind on Sunday. Doubtful I can make it....but time will tell. Caught a couple of fish there earlier this week....

Ok. I have snagged site 8 & 6. They're right next to each other and I found the water. It's close. Pay your 3.00 entry fee then settle up with me for 1.00 each. See everyone soon.

Thanks slinky. We'll be seeing you around midnight / 2am.

Also bringing stuff for bannock tortillas and breakfast hash - potatoes, onions, sausage, and eggs for breakfast on Saturday.

I don't have any good camp recipes, so I am just bringing some cheddar cheese and summer sausage.

I'm considering making a good rich venison stew, but wondering what else other folks are making in case I oughta make some kind of a dessert instead. Pineapple upside down cake, brownies, etc.

Yes, I know, Throkda's told me I'm over thinking this... just curious.
I was looking forward to that Pineapple upside down cake.

and interpreted that to be that you had become a maybe as to whether you'd still be there tomorrow or Sunday morning. More food the merrier anyway, though!

Makes sense and I agree, the more the merrier. We are heading out now. See you there!

Only got the one dutch oven and wanna make sure there's enough good hearty food for everyone

Throkda's right.. I wasn't sure that meant you were a maybe or that you were going to be showing up sometime Sunday! I'm fine with just a cup of coffee for breakfast, but its just in my nature to make sure everyone is fed. No offense was meant! Just means we'll have plenty to go around so everybody gets some!

    Also, again, firewood?

Only two cars per camp site allowed. We'll need to car pool from the front parking lot. The sites are payed for and there's NO day use fee when camping. So come on in to site 6 or 8.

If someone has an EXTRA LARGE tarp to set up as a rain shelter that would be good. I have plenty of rope.

    I'm looking forward to breakfast...
