I got this partially solved now that I know that a Sea to Summit poncho will adequately fit the HH - Now I am looking at Mil-Spec ponchos in different camo patterns and checking comparability... looking also for 8 oz

There was an Old Man with a owl,
Who continued to bother and howl;
He sat on a rail, And imbibed bitter ale,
Which refreshed that Old Man and his owl.WOO
That tarp in Real Tree pattern is awesome. I'd love to get my hands on something like that!
I'm a Dancam fan:

you looking for something like this? I have no idea what it is, ripstop thats it. got it at a secondhand store for 3.99 for about 12 yrds. My tarp is 11x9.
I don't know if this will help but just finished my camo tarp thing:

All of the hunting camo patterns are way better than most everything out there, the exception for me is multicam. You can buy 40d multicam and make your own tarp. I would really like to see the Mossy Oak patterns put on lightweight silnylon. I have searched and found squat.
Does anyone know of a way to stain cuben fabric?
Mike
The Mylar plastic film of Cuben will me unlikely to take dyes or stains. You can write on it with markers. I always thought it would be cool to take markers to an olive green Cuben tarp and make a bare tree type pattern, but 1) it would be a major (big) piece of artwork and 2) expensive canvas if you mess up and don't like the end result.
I suppose if you could get the ink then you could airbrush a design on
Well I am still open to ideas.. Just short of spraying Cuban....with green stuff.
