    Best knots for hammock-camping

Hello all! I was wondering if you all had any input on the best knots for hammock camping. Maybe we could compile a good list with videos, etc. for people who need a jumping off point.

One's that I've already learned that have proved useful:

    Taught-line Hitch: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=1jkN3K5G8eE

    Adjustable knot, etc.: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=KE7dx0WJo9o

    Prussik knot: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=P0d8-Fxdx8Y

    Lark's head: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=9b-_I...layer_embedded

    Bowline: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=u2SjE...layer_embedded

    Marlin Spike Hitch: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=y8Yvvt39Luk

Feel free to chime in with alternatives to these knots, other useful knots I haven't mentioned, videos/links, etc.

I like the Klemheist. Like a one way Prusik, and works a little better on slick lines.

While looking through the nice collection of videos from icedfire477 I stumbled across this video http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=GCsG-...eature=related
Its titled basic camp knots and it from Dave Canterbury from Dual Survival. He looks younger in these videos than he does in Dual Survival and he hangs a tarp and hammock with some very interesting, quick untying, tautline and prusik type knots among the other usual suspects like bowline.

    cheers!

Good video, but skip to the 2min mark (the first 2min he likes to hear himself talk).

I've a knot noob, so keep that in mind as I ask this.

    Is a prussik knot just a triple+ lark's head?

EDT: seoinage:this is a link directly to the ~2 minute mark.

I gotta go with the Solomon Bar also, great way to close up a whoopie sling to prevent accidental slip-off of the toggle KNOT (not the TOGGLE)

.... the Aardvark (earth pig)... a rather unremarkable creature whose sole claim to fame is that it is the first animal listed in the dictionary.
