What is there to be angry about if you haven't just spent the night sleeping on a tree root?

Just goes to show how great hammocks are. Makes life much more enjoyable and peaceful hahaha
Thanks for your enthusiasm. It's infectious and greatly appreciated and makes me want to give back the same. Also, when my back hurts and I sleep in my hammock, I wake happy and not cranky.
Enjoy and have fun with your family, before they have fun without you
I find the forum addicting. The amount of knowledge and people willing to share experiences is truly amazing.
Glad you like it here
I hope everyone that appreciates this site will help in keeping it a nice place to visit and gain or share information.
On the left side at the bottom of the person posting, there is a little button to push when you think a post is not appropriate to this site. I hope everyone will do their part to keep this web site suitable and in keeping with the spirit of Hammock Forums.
No such thing as waking up on the wrong side of the hammock.
I lurked around this site for a long time before joining it, it seemed too good to be true, a site where flaming was frowned upon and rarely ever happened, where people really tried to help each other and behaved like adults should.
I kept waiting for some hidden dark undertone to show itself, but there isnt one, its truely a one of a kind site.
Thats why i kinda cringe every time i see a new sign up, hopeing they are not the kind that we dont want,, i know i sound judgemental, but i cannot help it.
But what i have learned is that those kind of people find it refreashing and learn to apreciate it or they leave and go away, this is a great site and it takes all of us to make sure it stays that way.. i have biten my tounge many a time but its worth it. Welcome Charliev, and enjoy

I was made familiar with the term "lurking" by, well... lurking for awhile here and like so many others found the place the kind of place I wanted to be a part of. The members and mods work to make it a great place to visit, exchange ideas and maybe a laugh or two but not often does a mean spirit arise. It's the only site I ever felt like supporting financially and that small donation is one of the best investments I've ever made. I appreciate every member and administrator for elevating the standards of a forum as well as "elevating their perspective". Where else can you find the breadth of knowledge along with the entertainment value topped off by an overwhelming feeling of helping others?
Happy Trails to one and all.
Enjoy the outdoors wisely and elevate your perspective.
