Enjoyed the video. Looks like it was a great time. I used to have a hiking dog, but I think he enjoyed the woods so much, he ran off.
    Nice tarp.

Great video! I have tried Bear in a hammock.. Doesn't work. The extra 70lb kills me, but he loves it. Seems to work out the best if I pack him a bed and have him lay next to me on the ground. Next Ill have to get him a better dog-pack to carry his own gear..

    Nice tarp.
Thanks man. I cranked that tarp out the same night I saw the one you made. It worked great. Thanks for the inspiration.

That's awesome you're dog loves the woods. The thing I've learned with hammocking with a dog isn't the weight that's the problem, but the body mass in there. It would just be awkward and uncomfortable in my opinion to have a huge pup in there with you. But, if you lower your hammock and have him sleep on the ground, it's pretty dang close. Thanks for watching.

Great video! Kiba has the right idea - back in the hammock as quickly as possible. I have 3 myself - I wonder what the temp rating would be?!!

Looked fun Fronkey. I always say it's not a trip unless I forget something.

Steaks looked great! We ended a trip last fall just like that at the Kimball Creek campsite on the SHT. Had a cooler with all the fixin's ready to go in the truck. Just had to walk up the hill and get it.

Meat! Ya'll had some fun out there for sure. My ol' cat used to crawl in with me in the back 40 and they do put out some heat.
    Yep...those string-cams are fiddly))))))

Thanks for the trail and hammock dog moments.

( We are without a dog at this time. )

Happily reminded of the pleasures of a one dog night when camping.

Great video Dude! Looks like a seriously good time, that Kiba's a good dog and one heck of a heater it seems! Everytime I see one of your vids, it really makes me miss my old pooch and gets me thinkin' about getting another one.

Man, that steak must have tasted awesome after a day in the woods!

With wind chill its about -49f where I'm at today. My heater blows cold in my truck unless I am accelerating from a stop!

    Cheers

It was nice to get out for a quick night in the woods.
Yeah, I thought it would be easy like the ones I used on ships. But, they were a little bit tricky at first to get right out in the back woods. Sure was fun though.
    Thanks for watching man.
