WITHDRAWN: Exped Wallcreeper 650 20*F size Large

    For Sale:

    '09 Exped Wallcreeper 650 20*F size Large
Brand New w/ Tags. Filled with 750 Goose Down Fill. Comes with both Exped no-see-um large storage bag and roll-top dry bag.

The Wallcreeper works really nicely as a Peapod around your hammock.

I received this for Christmas and decided to stick with my FF custom Peapod. I'm 5'10" / 170# and the Large size will definitely fit a much larger person.

    $260 shipped TYD.

    Check out the specs....

Add a Hilleberg Bivanorak and you will have a nice set-up. Just a thought.

The Wallcreeper is also a wonderful bag for use in a hammock. it's roomy and spacious and the zipper position doesn't cause as much grief as with other bags.

I've got one of these Wallcreepers, a down one. I always wondered how cold one might go with it in a PeaPod--any guesses?

    Hello Medicine Man,
You can use the Wallcreeper as a PeaPod with your PeaPod.

I have my Grand Trunk UL camo hammock set up on a stand inside my house and the Wallcreeper will wrap around like a PeaPod.... Which allows you to have the down loft and retain warmth on your backside and not compressing the down by laying on it.

I imagine if you use both a PeaPod and Wallcreeper together you could easily push -20*F. Of course, an enclosed tarp/tent, long underwear, wool socks, and some other clothing might be necessary/helpful.

Do you mean you can put the Wallcreeper around your hammock, and the PeaPod around the whole rig?

    Hello Mac,
Yes, You can put the Exped Wallcreeper around a hammock like a peapod and put another PeaPod around the Wallcreeper. I tried this concept inside with my Grand Trunk UL hammock, the Wallcreeper, and my custom Feathered Friends eVent "PeaPod". Basically, it's like using 2 peapods together. Plus, your laying in your hammock and not compressing the goose down on your backside. No need for a foam pad or air mattress.

I was just thinking of wearing the WallCreeper in the hammock which is surrounded by a PeadPod...I've got the WallCreeper like your selling the down model (it's terracotta/black)..what temps would you guess you could go with that? oh, forgot, the PeaPod in question is the newer model one; I've still got an original sewn through model of yesteryear.

    Hello MedicineMan,

Wearing the Wallcreeper and using the Peapod, you could probably push the temps around 0*F to -10*F. That's using a tarp and longjohns w/ wool socks. (An enclosed tarp-tent would would help hold heat in better and keep you warmer in subzero temps.)

The only concern is you will have plenty of down loft on top of you. But, since your laying on the backside of the Wallcreeper, you will only have the loft of the Peapod alone to create a barrier of warmth alone. So, your backside might be a little cold.

If that were the case, I would either use the Peapod or the Wallcreeper and just wear a down jacket and down pants in your hammock. This would also keep your backpack size smaller, instead of carrying both the Peapod and the Wallcreeper.
