I'm gonna pass...have fun! I've actually vowed to avoid the Gorge trails this season. And Eagle Creek is top of my list...due to it's popularity and litter problem.

I'll be heading to Glacier NP instead for a week of backcountry adventures. I'll catch ya'll at the winter hang hopefully next year.

We'll miss ya'. I actually don't think the Eagle Creek trail to Wahtum Lake is bad after tunnel falls. That's when the tourists drop off and you are left with serious hikers only. I have not experienced any litter problem when I hiked it. Just the opposite, actually.

Just a quick update on the raffle:

Companies confirmed for this years donations are UK Hammocks, enLIGHTened Equipment, 2QZQ, Hammock Forums, Whoopieslings.com, Warbonnet Outdoors, Dutchware and Wilderness Logics.

but will concede t-shirt organization to those who have local contacts and can get them cheaper. i'm happy to help collaborate a design, though.

Let's just say my last experience on that trail was not a good one, involved some inconsiderate amateur backpackers and leave it at that.

The raffle looks good, bummed to miss it! I'll catch ya'll later.
