I think it's awesome that you have Kiba in the hammock with you, I've seen that in one of your previous vids, but I've always wondered about something. Is it any worry that her nails will rip the fabric? My little buddy Dixie is almost exactly Kiba's size and I would love to take her on the trail with me, but I'm worried about her nails putting us both on the ground and ruining my hammock!
Kiba has spent a ton of nights in the hammock and we've never had a problem. I keep up with trimming her nails and I would actually be surprised if she could bust through the fabric because she's just so light.

Give it a shot, I'm sure Dixie would love it.

    Thanks for watching!

It was a lot of fun to mess around with. I think hammocks are like catnip to Kiba. She loves them!

It honestly happens to me on every trip. lol

    Thanks for watching man.

Thanks man! Looking forward to the upcoming hang and I'm so jealous I can't go with you and TZ. Stupid cruise line crash has made me so swamped with work I might actually miss out on going to the FBH.

Our snow has pretty much melted already.

I hope you do get some video. It will be great to see some hangers in your neck of the woods. Thanks for watching!

I love how hammock camping lends itself perfectly to improvization. I too have had to do some quick modifications in the field without any negative outcome to the trip. Good for you to keep thinking on your feet.

P.S. thanks for the Diaz tools cameo. Cool wrap! It's fun to see the diferent wraps that folks use for those neck knives.

BTW> when you comin' out to the Pacific NW to hang?
There's no better friend on the trail than a dog.

I've shot a bunch of vid of your knives and going to film some more at the frozen butt hang. Then make a fun video about them. The only complaint I have is how many times I've cut myself with them because they're so sharp.

As for the Pacific NW... I BADLY want to hang there and am going to try and plan a trip out there for next year. I want to see some of your awesome woods again!

Next time we hike I will be bringing dinner for the first night.

The only problem with having Kiba in there is we are too hot. lol Thanks for watchign Grizz.

I told the girlfriend that the only way I would let her get a dog is if we got one I could take hiking. Now Kiba and I are pretty inseparable on the trail. Thanks for watching dude!

I hate it when I forget stuff. One time I forgot my pack. But I had all my other stuff. Used a jacket to pack my stuff.

I like the way you tap the seasoning on your steak – tap, tap, tap! lol I suppose one good thing about the cold, cold snow is, you don’t have to worry about meat going off. The dramatic music was pretty good. The wood chunk trick might come in handy one day, thanks for that. Those moccasins look nice as... the reviews are good too. Thanks for the video (a bit longer would have been good) and I hope you make one for the frozen butt hang next week!

Great vid. Dog insulation is the best! I'm thinking of getting a trail-worthy small dog 'cause my beagle Peanut can only do a couple of miles.

Those steaks looked gorgeous Fronky. Made me dribble saliva. And it really comes through that mans best friend is his dog.
    Thanks for sharing.

Your nice down boots are covered in crap!?!? That’s disgusting!
I’m wondering how well Kiba does in cold weather? It seems like she’s good in the hammock but how about during the day and evening? My pup Koda has a little shorter hair than Kiba and I’m hesitant to take her out in below zero weather...

Fun video to wake up to this morning! Looks like a good trip out into the frozen north country! Nothing like the woods and a good beast by your side!
